Continuing Education

Wow, has it really been a month since I blogged!?  Where has the time gone?
I guess my sister did have a baby, which makes me an aunt!! I have a little niece, Kennedy Reece.  She's beautiful!

Back on topic...
As you know (or if you didn't, now you do), I am a Professional Bridal Consultant and a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.  This association really focuses on education, and tonight the region I am a part of had an Internet Local Networking Group (ILNG) Conference Call.  We have this call monthly, and always have a speaker to teach us something or give us more information that will help us in either the association, our business, or for our brides.  Tonight's guest speaker was Elise Enloe, ABC Director of Education.  Elise has really improved our association by increasing the standards that members need to meet. 

Education is so important, no matter the industry.  Fortunately, I enjoy learning about the wedding and event industry, and will continue my education.
